Should I get veeners even though I have a overbite!? (photos)

While veneers would be a great idea on your top front four teeth, they do protrude some, you should begin with braces to correct your bite.  If you get veneers without having your overbite corrected with braces, your veneers will likely look very bulky.  Good luck and I hope this helps. I would hate to see you get veneers on what look like virgin natural teeth at such a young age. First of all, veneers will not correct a gummy smile. That may be as simple as removing some extra gum tissue but it may involve crown lengthening or surgery to remove a little bone as well as gum tissue. The shape of the teeth can be changed somewhat by recontouring or reshaping the enamel depending on what you want changed. It looks like more could be done with regular orthodontics to correct your bite as well as your smile(including some of the reshaping). I don't know if an orthodontist or a general dentist did your Invisalign, but I would get a second opinion from an orthodontist. It looks like in the photo that your upper arch is narrow or constricted, and the upper right canine and even the upper front left tooth stick out. You may need more than moving teeth, like palatal expansion. I would get a second opinion....
