Mid face seems very flat - would you suggest cheek augmentation? (Photos)

Hello I am considering cheek augmentation but I am not sure which procedure would be most suitable for my case, or whether it is truly necessary. As you can see, my midface appears flat, and my chin is also somewhat receded and short. I am aware that my main concern at the moment is my nose, which I am planning to have treated. However, I am worried that after rhinoplasty, the rest of my face especially the midface may appear flatter. Based on my facial structure, do you think I would be a good candidate for cheek augmentation? Thank you for your time and guidance

If your midface is flat and your chin is a bit recessed, it can affect how balanced your nose looks after rhinoplasty. Surgeons often talk about facial harmony &mdash; the chin and nose need to balance each other so one doesn’t overpower the other. If you make your nose smaller without adding projection to the chin or midface, the rest of your face can look flatter by comparison.
Before jumping straight to surgery, a lot of people start with cheek and chin filler. That’s a conservative way to add volume and projection so you can preview how added structure changes your overall profile. Fillers are temporary and reversible, and many surgeons use them to help plan a more permanent approach later if needed.
If you feel like you want something more lasting, surgical options like cheek implants or a chin implant can be discussed with your surgeon after you see how the fillers look. But trying chin and cheek filler first is a good, less invasive way to see what works before making bigger decisions.

There is no substitute for an in-person, close-up examination. However, at least from the photos provided, it would appear that the use of a robust HA volumizing filler cheek augmentation would not only create a more oval, heart-shaped cheeks, but would likely improve the under-eye hollowing noted. 
Additionally, the use of a robust HA contouring filler properly injected in the lower third of the face can not only better define the jawline, but provides greater harmony between the upper and lower face, both in frontal and profile views. As for the chin, it is hard to comment without at least a profile view. 
If you are planning a surgical rhinoplasty, you might wish considering having this done first, after which it the aforementioned filler treatments can then be better harmonized with the post-surgical projection of the nose. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Looking at your photo and considering your description, it does appear that your midface has a flatter profile, and your chin is slightly recessed. This combination can sometimes make the midface look less defined, especially after a rhinoplasty, since enhancing the nose can subtly shift the perception of facial proportions.

Cheek augmentation could indeed help balance your facial features. It can:

Add volume to the midface, creating a more lifted and youthful appearance.

Improve facial harmony, especially when combined with chin enhancement if needed.

Support the lower eyelid area, which can subtly refresh the eyes.
