4 days ago i got 4 crowns on the upper front teeth and after "glueing" the crowns, my dentist started very brutally with his tools to clean the rest of the cement, which went inbetween my teeth. This left me with destroyed gums and a small gap inbetween my front teeth. Not only that this is an aesthetic problem, but there is also sometimes air or saliva going through this gap while speaking, which annoys me a lot. The gap is small (around 1-2mm), but still visible when you come close to my teeth

Depending on your retainer type , it could be reshaped-recontoured, if it is made out of acrylic or redone if it is an Essix(translucent acetate material covering all the teeth crowns)
