Face Has Turned Puffy For The Last Month, Is It Lymph Node Damage After Necklift?

I am almost 3 months po. Initial swelling went down beautifully then suddenly my face turned puffy and has remained so for over a month. My surgeon thought it may be due to disruption of lymph nodes and that it will resolve. Any insight? It's very noticeable.

Hello jim11777 While each patient is different, as a general rule, patients can expect to recover from their necklift in about three weeks. You are still early in the recovery stage, this are expected conditions. You should conatct or visit your PS about this concern. #lumps #normal

While it is common to see some irregularity due to swelling after any procedure, based on the photos, it appears that you may have had an accumulation of fluid after surgery. This can lead to excessive firmness and lumpiness that you see. The compression garment will not help that much at this...
