Slight Blister or Bubble After Juvederm

Hi and thank you for your question! What you are describing can be many things - ranging from filler itself or swelling to herpes or unrelated blisters or abscess. If it is swelling following filler, it should gradually go down and disappear within two weeks of injection, so you can continue watching it and see if it goes away on its own. If it stays the same after two weeks, you can do a follow up with your doctor. On the other hand if you are seeing that it is getting worse or become tender, red or warm then you should do the follow up right away. I hope it helps and good luck!

Is there anyway you have a photo? However, there is the possibility of it being a bubble, in that case I recommend contacting your current cosmetic physician to address the area. If it is a cold sore, contact your current physician right away to start you on medication.

A bubble on the lip may be filler that can be massaged to flatten out a bit. If it is a blister you may have developed a herpetic outbreak and should see a doctor.

As long as you cannot see it do not worry about a lump that you can feel.  If it really bothers you you can have an injection to make it dissolve.

At about a week out, it is most likely that this "bubble" is a localized collection or lump of the Juvederm material. I would manually roll the lip between the index finger and thumb a few times a day and the material should re-distribute. If the lump is still present after 2 weeks, consider a followup with your treating physician.
