Uterine Fibroids are deeper in the abdominal cavity within the uterus.EMSculpt and EMSculpt NEO treat the abdominal wall- the rectus abdominus muscle which is above the fascia which overlies the abdominal contents. The treatment is safe if you have fibroids.
Thank you for your question. Fibroids should not interfere with Emsculpt treatments (I am presuming you are asking about abs) so long as the fibroids are not so large that they get in the way of the paddles sitting in the correct position on top of the abdomen.
yes you absolutely can get Emsculpt if you have fibroids, they are not a contraindication to treatment
I do not think fibroids of the uterus would be considered a contraindication for EMSCULPT. The things which would be have more to do with metals in the body, hernias, IUD, back surgery with rods, Hip replacement, for example.
Having uterine fibroids should not interfere with having any cosmetic procedure.Emsculpt Is a temporary treatment that strengthens muscles. It should be fine for you to have this treatment if you want. The results are however temporary.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
