Botox fillers and sometimes liposuction or ThermiRF work well to treat this area. I suggest a formal consultation with a facial sculpting/rejuvenation expert. Best, Dr. emer.

Hi, I have performed many cheek augmentation procedures over the past 30 years. From the photos, the cheeks are flatanteriorly (in the front), there is excess facial fat in front and below the cheeks, the chin is quite weak and there is evidence of jowls. These all combine to create an elongated oval shaped face. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and bodybeauty, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shapedfaces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in thefront. Cheek augmentation using a dermal filler (I prefer Restylane Lyft)or with cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, roundcheeks anteriorly that will feminize the entire face. I would combine facial liposuction for further shaping of the cheeks and lower face. A weak chin creates an imbalance that makes the noseappear larger, the lower face short (de-emphasizes the lips) and the mid face appear top heavy. Chin augmentation, using a chin implant, will add projection to the chincreating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found placing asilastic chin implant through a small, curved, incisions under the chin to bevery safe, quick, highly effective and far less invasive than a slidinggenioplasty that requires bone cuts with placement of screws and metal plates. A V-shaped lower face must not have excess skin or "jowls". Jowls are sagging facial tissues andan indication for some form of a facelift. The underlying SMAS layer, ofthe face, must be dissected, lifted, trimmed and re-sutured. The excess skin isthen removed and the facelift incisions closed. My most popular facelift is theminimally invasive, short incision facelift that has all the benefits of moreinvasive facelifts (traditional, mid-face, deep plane and subperiostealfacelifts) but with these added benefits:•very small incisions•minimal tissue dissection = lessbruising and swelling = rapid recovery•can be performed in 90 minutes orless, with or without anesthesia•no incisions within the hair = nohair loss•excess fat can be removed•excess skin removed•cheeks, chin and jaw line can beaugmented with dermal fillers (I prefer Restylane Lyft) or facial implants•most patients fly back home to partsall over the world in as little as 3 days post-opHope this helps.
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
We typically all lose volume in our face as we age.Smoking can be very harmful, can age you faster and cause wrinkles but typically does not make you lose volume.Fillers like Voluma are very natural and can last up to 2 years or more and are reversible if needed.
