How Do You Not Lose Weight After Liposuction?

I had tickle lipo on my abs & love handles a month ago. I notice a positive difference. However, I weigh the same as I did before- 178. I understand tickle lipo is NOT a weight reduction procedure, but if a doctor sucks out a couple of liters of fat, how come one doesn't lose weight from it? I've actually increased my workout & reduce my calorie intake post-procedure. I read it's hard to lose weight post-lipo because the body 'freaks' out over the fat loss and makes it hard to lose more.
