Is it safe to use my infrared sauna one week post IPL now and will it help with healing?

I had IPL one week ago. After the IPL, I initially broke out with whiteheads, which have now dried up and most are gone. Swelling is gone and most redness is gone as well, but I want to know if I can use my infrared sauna now to help increase blood flow and speed up healing.

When treating facial redness it takes multiple treatments to improve/resolve the redness. We usually tell patients no strenuous activity for 48 hrs post treatment. In experienced hands, these two treatments could be done on the same day. I often combine IPL with RF based treatments in my own office.

I would definitely return to your dermatologist as I would say this is not a normal reaction from IPL. You might have had an allergy to a numbing cream they used, or even a post procedure cream. Best to be seen. It definitely looks like some form of contact dermatitis. "This answer has been ...
