How long does swelling from Sculptra in the temples typically last?

I am looking to get Sculptra in temples, but am a bit fearful because when I had it injected in the periaucular area, I had bad bruising and the swelling lasted 5 or so weeks. Is swelling typically less in the temples? Thank you.

Immediately after treatment, you will have some swelling that should settle down within the next several days. Any prolonged swelling should be assessed for hematoma, infection, or an inflammatory reaction. It is best to follow up with your healthcare provider if the swelling has not subsided within a few days to a week.

It is fairly common to have some degree of swelling to an area after it is treated with Sculptra.  The amount of swelling can vary though and sometimes one side can get more swollen than the other.  The amount of time that swelling can last can also vary.  Bruising is also variable.  It is definitely possible to get swelling and bruising to the temple area after Sculptra treatment.  I would say that 5 weeks is not typical for any swelling and/or bruising to resolve though.  In most cases, if there is swelling and/or bruising, I would say this is usually gone by a week.
