I was in an accident a year ago and had trauma to my face. A scar close to the eye. Now my smile is completely skewed! As you can see, the right side(your left) is much lower. The cheek is depressed and it is "heavier" to move it the area. I'm think it's the Orbicularis Oculi or the Zygomaticus Minor that is damaged. Can the nerve be repaired/reattached somehow? It's not a wide area of trauma. (Please note that the redness on the front-pics are unrelated, it is the scar of last picture.)

Hi:From the photos it appears that the lip movement is not symmetrical due to muscle. Most likely you will need Botox or fillers to help make the muscle movements more symmetrical.Best,Dr. Maddahi
