It’s my understanding some antibiotics cause photosensitivity. Is it okay to receive spectra laser treatments while on metronidazole? I have looked into the side effects and precautions for this medication and sensitivity to the sun is not one of them. I will be finishing my course of metronidazole this Friday morning, hours before I am scheduled for a spectra laser treatment.

Hi, It is absolutely safe to get laser hair reduction for full arms and full legs on the same day. Only thing is it will take quite some time. Make sure you dont expose to sun before and after the procedure. Do consult an expert. My best wishes.
