Is it safe to do full body laser hair removal?

Question

How much of a person’s body is it safe to expose to a laser at one time? If one required full arms + hands and full legs + feet, laser hair removal, would it be best to do all arms + hands sessions and then after they are finished, start legs+feet? Or is it safe to do sessions around the same sort of timeframe? If not, how many weeks, months etc is it best to leave between full arms + hands and full legs + feet?

Yes, it is in deed safe to have full body laser hair removal treatments. Please know that after your first treatment you may not be able to continue to get the full body lasered all at the same time. This is due to different hair growth cycles for certain areas of the body. Sticking to the growth cycle of each area will give you max results. Please consult with a laser technician to make sure you are a candidate. Laser does not work on blond or gray hairs and do not wax or tweeze in-between treatments.

No, it is not a good idea to do full body laser hair removal all in one sitting.  Most doctors use a numbing cream to help dull the sting of the laser.  Not all lasers are equal and some can be quite uncomfortable.  The numbing cream can be absorbed through the skin and if a large surface area is covered, there can be dangerous consequences.  There was a terribly sad case reported several years ago regarding two girls who covered their legs in numbing cream, then wrapped their legs in plastic wrap, and left it for several hours.  The lidocaine was absorbed at a high enough level to cause fatal heart arrhythmia.  
Our laser hair laser uses a cold blast delivered immediately before the laser fires, which significantly reduces pain and almost eliminates the need for numbing cream.

It is perfectly fine to have your full upper body and full lower body lasered at the same time. Just prepare yourself for a large amount of time to lay there and get the service. Also, the cost will be very high to have all that done at one time. Please remember to avoid the sun after all laser procedures. I would consult with a laser technician to make sure you are a good candidate.

Hi, It is absolutely safe to get laser hair reduction for full arms and full legs on the same day. Only thing is it will take quite some time. Make sure you dont expose to sun before and after the procedure. Do consult an expert. My best wishes.
