Is it safe to do full body laser hair removal?

Yes, it is in deed safe to have full body laser hair removal treatments. Please know that after your first treatment you may not be able to continue to get the full body lasered all at the same time. This is due to different hair growth cycles for certain areas of the body. Sticking to the growth cycle of each area will give you max results. Please consult with a laser technician to make sure you are a candidate. Laser does not work on blond or gray hairs and do not wax or tweeze in-between treatments.

No, it is not a good idea to do full body laser hair removal all in one sitting.  Most doctors use a numbing cream to help dull the sting of the laser.  Not all lasers are equal and some can be quite uncomfortable.  The numbing cream can be absorbed through the skin and if a large surface area is covered, there can be dangerous consequences.  There was a terribly sad case reported several years ago regarding two girls who covered their legs in numbing cream, then wrapped their legs in plastic wrap, and left it for several hours.  The lidocaine was absorbed at a high enough level to cause fatal heart arrhythmia.
