Can I get the skin smoothing and lightening benefits of Cosmelan from just the C1 mask and no C2? C2 was irritating skin

When I applied C2 after a day, my skin got very red and swollen. Doc advised me to stop it. Now it has been a WEEK since the C1 peel. No C2 usage. Skin has peeled. It is smooth but still very very bronze/brown. My original skin colour is medium-fair. Sunblock and makeup not absorbing in skin. Will my skin peel further? I have to attend a wedding in about four days. If I apply C2 now, will my skin peel and heal in four days?

I don't have people sleep with Cosmelan on.... so I don't know why that was suggested. 6-8 hours is a normal timeframe, but that would mean the mask was put on you at midnight? That can't be right...... The mask can dry and crack, but pieces of it should not come off. Please call your treating...

It appears you are allergic to something in the Cosmelan and most likely it's the hydroquinone. This is rare but it is what I suspect. See a physician for a prescription and a kenalog shot quickly. And stop using the product!"This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot...
