Nose hairs are not growing out of your nostrils. What has occurred is that you also had a rhinoplasty where your lower lateral cartilages were removed and this has caused alar retraction. Please provide photos so that we can provide you more accurate advice.
Dear septoplastyguy, You can trim these or have them waxed and should be fine. It is most likely that you have some alar retraction making the nasal hairs more visible. If you are happy with your current results then simply have waxing or trimming if not seek a secondary opinion. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
It is normal for hair to grow out of the nose. The hairs can be trimmed and all will be well. Time will unlikely change this. My Best, Dr Commons
