I'm 30 and my wisdom tooth never erupted due to there being no space for it. My second to last molar needs to be extracted, but nstead of a tooth implant, can an orthodontist pull my last molar forward to replace the extracted tooth? Then when that last molar is in the spot of my extracted tooth this will create space in the back for the wisdom tooth to finally erupt? I would love to be able to use my real teeth instead of getting an implant.

Implants in general have a very low complication rate, success is over 90%.In your situation it is hard to tell what could have occurred during the surgery that resultedin an implant infection. I would suggest having a second opinion by a surgeon or a general dentist with a higher degree...
