Should I get Masseter Botox or Chin filler/implant? I don’t really like my side profile. (photos)

Hello. I’m wondering if I need Botox or a chin implant. I don’t really like my side profile, it makes me look slightly chubby and I’m only 120lbs. I’ve also seen mixed opinion for chin implants. Also wondering if Botox and chin filler help with jaw contouring possibly?

Prior to a chin implant, I would recommend trying chin filler. This will aid in balancing your facial features. This procedure helps create a more defined jawline, which will improve your side profile. Additionally, I would recommend masseter botox to assist in slimming the face.

Personally I would say no to Botox in your chin. If you dimpling in your chin then neurotoxins would help with that. But for the recessed part of your chin, if you did not want to have surgery you could try filler in the chin for more projection. Filler can also be used for the jawline as well for definition. I would have a consultation with a plastic surgeon for advice on the chin implant then make your best, educated decision. Surgery is permanent, filler is not ( last 12-18 months).

I encourage you to begin by visiting a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.  A treatment such as Morpheus8 may help improve the neckline.  If there are fatty pockets some liposuction may improve the contour.  Masseter Botox can help to slim the jawline.  Filler can be used in the chin if you are unsure about an implant.
