Sculptra and Fraxel can actually be done at the same time. However, if you have already had your Sculptra treatment, you should be able to schedule your Fraxel procedure within a week or so. Sculptra is a filler that produces results over the weeks and months following your injections. Fraxel creates micro-injuries to boost collagen production in the dermal structure to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out. Results usually become apparent in the weeks after treatment. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in both these treatments to ensure an optimal outcome.
Thank you for your question. Sculptra and Fraxel are complementary procedures that can produce very good rejuvenation results. These treatments can be performed at the same time or separately. If you have already had your Sculptra injections, you are probably safe to undergo your Fraxel treatment within a week or two. Sculptra is injected much more deeply than Fraxel, so the two should not interfere with each other. Always work with a doctor that is both board certified and has proper training in the treatments to ensure the best possible results.
Thank you for your good question. These two treatments can complement one another as one will produce quick results and the other creates gradual improvement over time. If you are working with a board-certified dermatologist who is experienced in both these procedures, you may be able to undergo them at the same time. If you have already had your Sculptra injections, I would recommend waiting a week or two just to make sure you are fully healed from one procedure before undergoing the next. A qualified physician will be able to advise you on the best approach for you based on your needs, the condition of your skin and your desired results.
I haven't used Sculptra in a very long time as I mostly do fat grafting for patients who require a rather global rejuvenation. but the limited time that i used to use sculpture I didn't do lasers the same day. it can cause problems during healing. Fraxel heat is pretty strong and can put u at risk for creating nodules/lumps
You can do these treatments on the same day depending on the skill of the provider and your case. See an expert to determine what timeline works best for your case. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi Happy,I often treat patients with Sculptra and Fraxel laser at the same sitting. Sculptra injectable is not affected by the heat of the laser. As with all aesthetic procedures, please be sure to choose your treating physician carefully based on their experience, skill, knowledge, training, and most importantly their natural artistic vision. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
Fraxel will no affect sculptra and sculptra will not affect fraxel. As long as you don't have any bruising or swelling from the sculptra left, you can go ahead and book your fraxel appointment. Be sure to confirm with your doctor that you are a candidate for fraxel and let them know what you have had done before hand.
You want to wait at least 2 weeks between a laser treatment and any botox (botox equivalent) and/or filler. You can likely have both done the same day, but to be the most safe, many recommend to put 14 days between treatments.
I love both Sculptra and the Fraxel laser. I would advise against doing them the same day since you need to have several days of massaging the treated area after Botox - generally five days - until the Sculptra process is completed. In general, I recommend a week after the Sculptra injections. Also you may have skin irregularities and puncture marks from the needles from Sculptra. Please consult an expert in lasers and cosmetic injections for the best results. Best, Dr. Green
I would feel comfortable performing Fraxel treatment soon after Sculptra treatment. Fraxel works more superficially then Sculptra injections.
Typically patients can have a Fraxel a month or 6 weeks after a facelift. The facelift must heal completely before you can have the Fraxel laser done. The Fraxel laser is the ideal laser to get rid of the sun damage and leave you with beautiful clear skin. Please consult an expert in Fraxel f...
