How large is one SculpSure applicator?

Thank you for your question.Each applicator is 24 cm2.  And with each treatment you can place 4 of these applicators which totals a surface area of 96 cm2.  You can place them on as solo, couplets, triplets or all four together depending where the troubled areas are located.  All sorts of configurations can be used with the device applicators.  I personally used two on each flank.Thank you

configurations, so that the treatment can fit a wide variety of body shapes and
sizes. For some people, 1 application would treat one side of their love
handles, and for others, all 4 applicators could be used on each side (across 2

Thank you for your question.  The applicators measure 6 x 4 cm's.  While it can be used in 4 different areas at once, typically they are used in one area such as the abdomen or 2 on each love handle.  Therefore, you can treat both love handles in 25 minutes.  This would take 2 hours to do with coolsculpting and without the pain and numbness seen with coolsculpting.  The abdomen can be treated in a single 25 minute session.  There is some variability depending on the patients size so it may take 50 minutes.  This is compared to coolsculpting taking anywhere from 4-6 hours.  (4-6 treatments 1 hour each session) 

Each applicator is 3.5 x 2 inches, or 5 x 9 cm  When you use the four array together, you treat an area 3.5 x 8 inches which nicely treats an upper or lower abdomen, or  both flanks. When both flanks are treated, two applicators are usually used on each side. The laser energy spreads out so the area of treatment blends into the untreated area, avoiding a step-off irregularity. You can see from the before and after pictures that the treatment is quite effective.

Sculpsure applicators are about the size of an iphone screen (the smaller ones) and there are four that can be used at one time.  They can be placed anywhere you can strap them on, and do not have to be next to each other.I've been performing Sculpsure treatments since they first came out and was one of the first to offer it in New Jersey so I can tell you that everyone varys in how many applicators they need to treat a area.Usually I find that most people need two applicators on each love handle to treat a targeted area.  Some however do need to have 3-4 if they have more fat to treat - but this doesn't seem too common.  The abdomen areas breaks down to 2 treatments of four applicators each.  Four applicators manage the lower abodomen and four manage the upper abdomen.  This can vary if you have someone with a short or tall torso however.  These are the most common areas but the bra roll, arms, lower back, and chest are all treated similarly with 2-4 applicators each side

Thank you for your question! The applicators are relatively small, about the size of an iphone5; this allows the treatment to be customized for each patient. It's best to have an in-person consultation with your surgeon to better determine the treatment plan best suited for your body shape. Some people may need two applicators, while others may need the full four. The best part about SculpSure is that each treatment is only 25 minutes long so even if you needed all four applicators, should you need to treat both love-handles, you'd still have your treatment completed within an hour!

Each applicator is small, about the size of a small cell phone.  Generally, to treat the entire abdomen, all 4 applicators are needed.  Each anatomic area will be different based on size.  The nice thing is that each treatment (up to 4 applicators) takes only 25 minutes so multiple areas can be treated rather quickly.

The SculptSure applicator is larger and can do multiple areas at a time. Anyone that says one treatment is all you need is fooling you. All non invasive options need multiple treatments to get even close to the results of a liposuciton or body shaping procedure.  It all depends on your goals.  If yo u are looking for some improvement, possibly one treatment.  If you want more shape, definition and size reduction, then you'll need multiple treatments OR a liposuction procedure.
