I had braces for three years, I wore my retainer for the time recommended, and then at nights only. I gave up on the retainer three years ago because I still had a gap in my teeth. The first picture is a before and after of how much my teeth have gaped in over a year. The second picture is a close up of my frenum attachment. I would like to close my gap by doing cosmetic dental bonding, would a frenectomy stop my teeth from gaping even more after dental bonding? -Thanks

Yes, you can definitely re-bond the front 6 teeth. Although, as your dentist mentioned, veneers would be a more permanent solution with a more predictable result.
Yes, you certainly could have this done. It appears that the two front teeth angle out somewhat, so boding would look nice to allign them better. It may even be possible to take a slight amount off of the opposite side of the tooth if they appear too wide to you. The mock idea is a good one...
