Generally speaking NO dental insurance pays for dental cosmetic treatment such as porcelain dental veneers. In my practice I do not take dental insurance, we are fee for service, however in one occasion, in which we billed the insurance for patient as a courtesy, so they get reimbursed, a patient having blue shield insurance got paid for dental veneers. Ask the dental insurances beforehand.
Insurance will not cover veneers 99% of the time. The only times insurances have covered veneers in my office is when it's automobile insurance. This means that the person was in a car accident that caused them to fracture their teeth. In that manner, the auto insurance will pay for veneers. I hope that answers your questions.Dr. Sarah ThompsonSt. Louis, MO and O'Fallon, IL

veneers are considered as cosmetic treatment and likely not covered by insurance. but if u want to save good amount of money thn dental tourism is good option for u , u will save upto 70% on total treatment costing. now a days dental tourism is very popular for expensive cosmetic procedures.
