There are many benefits to dental implants in that they function exactly like a natural tooth, and they don’t impact surrounding teeth as bridges do. Sounds like you are having problems with the existing bridge that is deteriorating to the point of needing a replacement. Need to assess the health of the remaining teeth both from a restorative aspect and periodontal aspect, to make sure teeth are strong enough and have good bone support to support a new bridge.  If not, an implant supported full arch can possibly be an option. I recommend getting a second opinion with a prosthodontist to make the most informed decision. A prosthodontist has advanced training in restoring and replacing teeth and can create a customized treatment plan using the latest techniques in dental restoration.
