Botox to shrink nose pores, how much, where and how deep? (Photo)

I have tried this many times and although it may seem the Botox works for this, it doesn't.  You need laser, peels and/or topical skin care treatments by a board certified dermatologist who knows how to manage oily, sebaceous skin.  Botox, when injected properly, can decrease oil production and help the appearance of the skin, especially the forehead.  My suggestion, get a formal cosmetic consultation.  I would gladly see you, but likely, if I suggest Botox it will be normal cosmetic doses in the glabella and forehead and around the nasal bones.  But the pore size will not change.  Fraxel laser, Elos Sublative, and Peels can help the pores.  But in general they are genetically determined and nothing "cures" them. Botox is normally injected in the subdermal plane or directly into the target muscle.  For decreasing pore size and sebum production, Botox must be injected intradermal - so that a small wheal is produced at the site of injection.  Small doses are used per injection site (0.5-1.25 units) and dispersed over a large number of sites.
