I have been on deca durabolin steroid cycle and am getting Botox injections on monday. Will there be a problem?

The cycle only stopped last thursday. I have gotten botox after a cycle and everything was fine. Do I have to worry about clotting or worse?

There should not be an issue with the effect of the drug where the injections themselves.  If your muscle mass is increased, the dose of Botox required to achieve desired outcomes may go up.  It is always a good idea to check with the doctor who prescribed other medications to determine whether they have any concerns about drug interactions with Botox.

There probably won't be any issue, but make sure to let your surgeon know in advance. May increase your bruising so just be aware. Best, Dr. Nazarian

I don't think there will be a problem with the Botox, however if your blood pressure is elevated you will have a greater risk of bleeding and bruising. I would be sure to tell your provider about this so they can take precaution.Good luck!

Thank you for your question.  As far as I know it is not known if there are any interactions between anabolic steroids and botox and it is unlikely to be studied.
