The Tyndall effect is caused by the hyaluronic acid being injected too superficial in the tear trough area. The HA can be removed with Hyaluronidase if the swelling doesn't subside and the bluish hue remains. It may remain for many months. 
Hyaluronidase is the enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Although there are different types of hyaluronidase, generically its the same compound. Commercially it is available as Vitrase or Hyalase. There are different unit amounts per preparation. An experienced injector will be able to judge how much of hyaluronidase should be injected depending on the condition. It usually starts working right away. 

The Tyndall effect from Restylane can last for several years under the eyes.  Please return to your injector and discuss the possibility of dissolving it with hyaluronidase.

Tyndall effect can last longer than one year under the eye.  I suggest seeing a board certified plastic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon or dermatologist with experience treating tear troughs for your hyaluronidase.  In experienced hands the hyaluronidase is a safe and usually successful procedure.  Be prepared for a few days of swelling after the hyaluronidase injection and the possibility that it may take more than one treatment.  I hope this helps.
