When I shaved my hands I exprienced severe burning, itchy, red pimples. I would like to know how can I avoid this irritation next time and how can I treat it now. Also, I will have my next treatment soon. Is it recommend to wait until the irritation go away or it’s fine to do my treatment

Hello, my name is Ranen and I work at Dr. Shah's office. Those "dots" on your legs also known as "strawberry legs" will go away in time. It may need a few months to a year to have those not visible.
Patients should avoid plucking, waxing, or pulling out any hair in areas to be treated with laser hair removal at least 3 weeks prior to their treatment. As long as the hair has grown back and it has been longer than three weeks it should be fine to move forward with your next treatment.
