I have surgery booked in 3 days for Rhinoplasty, I’ve been on a wait list for 11months. Yesterday I noticed my right eye was a little red. My doctor confirmed this was conjunctivitis. Will my surgeon still operate in 3 days time with this going on?

Answer: Conjunctivitis prior to rhinoplasty surgery Generally speaking, it shouldn't be an issue at all. Presuming that your local doctor has already started topical eye drops, a minor conjunctival infection should settle within a few days. Even if it hasn't completely, it shouldn't affect the ability to perform a rhinoplasty or the outcome. Best inform your rhinoplasty surgeon as soon as possible and get their personal opinion. Best wishes.
