I've had a couple of annoying moles on my face that I wanted to have removed but was afraid of scarring. I finally decided to get rid of them and I'm so happy I did! Dr. Fleming did such a wonderful and NEAT job of making it appear as if they were never even there. I've also had a couple other things done by her, and I would not go to another Dermatologist.
Dr. Fleming did Botox in my forehead to help lift my eyebrows and reduce the wrinkles. She also reduced the lines on my bunny nose as well as my crows feet. This softened my face and expression to where I look much younger. I'm 57 years old and I also was getting hollow at my temples. She filled my temples with voluma and this also made me look much younger. I haven't felt like wearing my hair tired back for such a long time and now I am able to wear my hair back and not notice my age. She is very gentle and amazing. Thank you Dr. Fleming.
Our repertoire of fillers has grown tremendously over the past couple of years. Several fillers can work very well to add volume to the cheekbones and contour the face, including: Radiesse, Voluma, Restylane Lyft, and Bellafill. Under eye dark circles can be eliminated with Restylane Refyne, Restylane-L, Belotero, Vollure, or Volbella. Which filler we choose depends on your individual anatomy and desired results. Your photos are great, but it is best to come to the office for a complimentary consultation. Hope that helps! Kristy F. Fleming, MD, FAAD
First, I understand your concern. I'm a female and I definitely would not want my head shaved. At my office, we never shave the scalp, but surgeons vary on this subject. You should give your doctor's office a call and check their policy. In general, the scalp heals very well, the stitches are camouflaged by the hair and in the end there is a thin scar that is difficult to find. Best, Kristy Fleming, MD
Yes, it will grow back to normal. You can use Latisse to speed up the growth process or you may want to consider microblading, a technique in which tiny strokes make a semi-permanent tattoo look like realistic hair. Best, Dr. Fleming
No, it is not a good idea to do full body laser hair removal all in one sitting. Most doctors use a numbing cream to help dull the sting of the laser. Not all lasers are equal and some can be quite uncomfortable. The numbing cream can be absorbed through the skin and if a large surface area is covered, there can be dangerous consequences. There was a terribly sad case reported several years ago regarding two girls who covered their legs in numbing cream, then wrapped their legs in plastic wrap, and left it for several hours. The lidocaine was absorbed at a high enough level to cause fatal heart arrhythmia. Our laser hair laser uses a cold blast delivered immediately before the laser fires, which significantly reduces pain and almost eliminates the need for numbing cream.
