How long should I allow for recovery after vaser liposuction for my tummy?

Im considering to have laser liposuction for the abdomen but i need to know the time ill need for recovery. I dont work but i have a one year old baby who need my care, when will i be able to carry him and do my everyday chores ? And is there pain after the procedure ?

Hi, pain and discomfort varies greatly between patients. For your guidance: 
swelling and bruising may persist for 6-8 weeks final #results improvement will continue for 4–6 months as swelling and irregularities resolve contours can even improve throughout the year after surgerypain medications will be provided as neededexercise is typically recommended after two or three weeks to minimize #adhesion between skin and deeper tissue - light walking, swimming, or riding a stationary bicycle.With regards to lifting things, activity is largely dependent upon how the patient feels. It is mostly based on the level of soreness or bruising that you may experience. Some resume normal activity after 3 days but some may require up to 2 weeks. Be sure that you follow your surgeon's instructions as to caring for yourself during #recovery (such as wearing garments or lymphatic massage), we want you to have circumferential pressure for 4-6 weeks. Beyond 6 weeks you may switch to an exercise garment (Lycra or Spandex) whenever it feels comfortable to slip it on or off. If you have any concerns at all about your healing process, do not hesitate to contact your surgeon.

You really only need a few days to a week off chores and work, most my patients are back to normal activity in a few days.  However, full recovery takes weeks to months after vaser especialy if a hi definition procedure is to be done.  So please speak to your treating physician and ensure they have a lymphatic massage person, hyperbaric oxygen, and do ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments post procedure to enhance the healing. Recovery time varies considerably. The number one variable is how aggressive the treatment is done. When liposuction is done more assertively in order to get good results, recovery time is increased. Patients typically describe the areas being sore for three to five days. It may be difficult to take care of a small baby for the first three days. I've had nurses come back to work the day after liposuction. Expect to be able to go back to low-impact daily activities in about four days.
