4 week post vaser liposuction, and I hate my results. How soon can I have a revision?

I am 4 weeks post op and hate my results from my vaser, it's nothing like when I first saw it 1 day post up, it's lumpy and I barely have any definition considering I had mid def there are still fat pockets especially on my upper abdomen , I know my body extremely well and I don't believe this is swelling, I've bn back to my doctor he said come back 6 week pat op but I doubt 2 weeks will make any difference I want revision surgery straight away I just know I'm not going to be happy,

The final results of the procedure are typically most noticeable 2-4 months following the #Vaser. So, you must have patience. The swelling will gradually diminish while the contours of the treated area(s) can continue to improve up to one year post procedure; becoming more apparent in appearance. The lumps should be diminish with time and self-massage to the area may benefit. If not, your doctor can provide suggestions for this concern. In-office medi-spa treatments may be an option. If you have concerns about your healing, or pain that you question to be unusual, it is important to call your plastic surgeon to discuss these further asked to be examined. However, depending on the degree of extra skin and/or fat following vaser may determine if further treatment and perhaps a different treatment may be required as a revision. As with all cosmetic surgery, results will be rewarding if expectations are realistic. Typically, it's best to wait 6 to12 months depending on the reason for #revision. It's suggested that you begin by consulting with your doctor or a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options in greater detail.

VASER results take months to see.  You are likely very swollen, I myself had vaser done 6 weeks ago and have fluctuent swelling and pain in areas.  You need to begin lymphatic massage, ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments and should be wearing a compressive foam vest.  If you had a hi definition procedure, its going to take months before the results are evident.  Do not consider a revision for 6 months.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Even if your results are close to final, which I don't think they are, you are not ready for revision surgery. In my practice, we do not offer any revisions within the first six months after surgery. This has less to do with the aesthetic outcome and more to do with allowing scar tissue to properly mature before re-operating.Performing a revision within the first six weeks would be ill-advised.
