I got Porcelain Veneers and not happy with color due to paint on top layer of veneer. Is this normal for veneers to be pained?

I got16 veneers fitted-and not happy with colour. I've chosen B3 and I liked temps look,but when my veneers were fitted I have noticed that they are more yellow than the sample-close to gum was at least shade darker than the ends. I was told top layer of veneers gets painted to give more natural look and it can be easily removed.But now surface is not even-it look partly glossy partly mat.Is it better to redo upper veneers,or more polishing better option? Also,is it normal veneers to be painted?

Ask your dentist to have the darkened color polished out and taken off ! If that does not satisfy your wants, then unfortunately you might need to change your veneers!In Certain cases, I have done reverse bleaching from the back of teeth, in which the veneers appeared lighter.But I need to see your teeth clinically.

The glaze on a veneer can be easily removed by polishing after cementing. It is more natural but every patient has a choice with color. If you like the color after the glaze has been removed, the dentist can polish the surface and you will be fine!removing veneers is trauma to the tooth so do it as a last choice.
