I sustained a degloving injury to my right hand 7 months ago. An orthopedic surgeon debrided the wound, but it left a big hypertrophic scar and keloid scars. I have full range movement with my hand, but the hypertrophic scar over the 2nd joint is tight, dry, uncomfortable. Can anything be done to remove the scars (permanently), whether lasers or surgical removal? OTC ScarAway gel does not help.
