I lost my Invisalign trays, what do I do?

Hello there,Since you wore your previous trays for a week and 5 days and only missed out on 2 days of treatment, I doubt that there will be any noticeable repercussions for doing this. I recommend that you contact your dentist to inform him/her about what happened, so that he/she can note this in your treatment plan. I would recommend wearing your next set of trays immediately to reduce the possibility of any relapse, but don't make a habit of changing your trays early.  Good luck and I hope this helps. recommend wearing the trays between 10–14 days on average. So you are in the
proper time bracket. You should contact your dentist to ask his opinion, but it’s
possible to start the next set of trays without causing any complications.

I would advise my patient to go ahead and switch to the next trays/aligners immediately. Since you are almost three days ahead of schedule, expect more tightness and a little more discomfort possibly.Add three additional days to your treatment. So you will be wearing this aligner set for its normal 14 days plus the three days of the aligner set you missed plus three more days to make certain the missed time is more than compensated for. If you don't do this you may not notice things getting off track until a few aligners down the road... and they will get off track if you don't follow this regimen.Please Call your dentist and ask them for guidance.Douglas Jopling, DDSDallas, TX area
