Laser hair removal can help prevent recurrent pilonidal cysts or abscesses. I do this routinely both pre and post surgery. Make sure you are under the supervision of an experienced physician to prevent complications. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question! It is fine to treat with hydroquinone and get laser hair removal. Darker skin should be treated with the 1064 laser for safest treatments. Best of luck!

It is not clear why you stopped but yes, you should be able to restart your treatments.  Most people require at least 6 – 12 treatments at regular intervals.  You should schedule a follow-up consultation with a Board Certified Dermatologist.
