Will Laser Genesis Cause Permanent Hair Reduction?

Will Laser Genesis result in permanent hair reduction in the areas hit by the laser? If so, is there a shield or something that can be used to protect the hairline area when treating erythematous scarring near the facial hairline?

Both can be effective, but if your skin is lite enough, you can have resurfacing done with a laser and the benefit will be greater. Thank you for your question and good luck with everything.

We have never seen this occur with Genesis, and would consider it very rare.  If done over hair, perhaps there is a little inflammation of the follicle. Thank you for your question and good luck with everything.

The Lyra is a 1064 laser, the Genesis also is a 1064, the Limelight is totally different in that it is an IPL. Thank you for your question and good luck with everything.

Thank you For your question! I suggest my patients wait about 72 hours post-fillers to have a Laser Genesis treatment. In fact, if you do have bruising or some swelling post-filler, the Laser Genesis can actually help resolve these faster. So that's an added benefit.
