I have mastitis with an abscess post miscarriage. I am 6 months post Aug. Will my implant be ok?

My breast other then nipple is ok. My pain is coming from the areola. They found a small abscess today in the ultra sound. My implants are under the muscle silicone. Will my implant be ok or will it have to be removed. I have no redness or fever at this time. I am very nervous, just found out today about abscess as I was still having pain.

Some surgeons wash the pocket out with saline or an antibiotic solutions. Some of that fluid remains in the pocket and will be absorbed over a few days to weeks.

I can't decide on the implant size. The doctors recommended 335cc. I wonder if 350cc would be too big for me.

Hello,Thank you for your question. If your Plastic Surgeon advises that the 350 will fit you, rest assured that it is only slightly bigger than the 335 and this will not make a significant difference to your outcome.
