I have mastitis with an abscess post miscarriage. I am 6 months post Aug. Will my implant be ok?

My breast other then nipple is ok. My pain is coming from the areola. They found a small abscess today in the ultra sound. My implants are under the muscle silicone. Will my implant be ok or will it have to be removed. I have no redness or fever at this time. I am very nervous, just found out today about abscess as I was still having pain.

Hello,Acute issues that are in evolution like yours are not appropriate for this forum.  You were already told that it is important to stay close to your doctors and take your antibiotics. It is unlikely you'll loose your implant.Best of luck!

I would suggest seeing your plastic surgeon as soon as you can and taking a copy of the ultrasound with you. Perhaps the antibiotics will be sufficient to avoid any problems.
