I had bellafill injection at summerlin hospital 2 months ago on my nose to treat irregularity of my nose implant. However it left me 2 bumps on unwanted areas we never talked about injecting it there, can these bumps be removed by surgery when I have nose bridge implant and remove the implant then remove the filler and insert new implant or is it gonna leave me a scar tissue. Or is this too dangerous to do. Or should I keep getting filler to cover the mistakes

Answer: Bumps in nose after Bellafill Prior to trying surgery, I would try using 5FU and Kenalog. You might be able to avoid surgery. I don't place Bellafill in the nose. Surgery will most likely lead to scarring.

Answer: Nasal Bellafill Injection: Can it be removed? Good Day. Thank you for your question and photograph. There are several issues to overcome. First, if the only issue is fullness that you don't desire, I would recommend a Kenalog injection or 5FU.If this does not remedy the issue with two injections, then surgical therapy can remove any of the areas of fullness. The key with surgery is to properly identify the exact location of the injected Bellafill. If you are having the nasal implant removed, the removal of the Bellafill can be done at the same time. Nasal dorsal reconstruction can be accomplished with minced cartilage wrapped in firm tissue (temporalis fascia) or a silastic implant. However, nasal implants that extend down into the nasal tip increase the risk of infection.A detailed physical examination and inquiry of your desired aesthetic outcome should be paramount in your treatment.Best of luck.
