I recently had dental work done and the string floss either breaks between my teeth or wont go in between my teeth at all anymore I had fillings done on my teeth and temporary crowns. Does a water flosser like "waterpik" replace string floss?
Answer: Flossing after dental work You should be able to floss but often it is Rx not to floss temps as they can come out.A waterpik can clean interproximal areas well.

Answer: Flossing Hi:You should be able to floss between all permenant fillings and crowns. However, if there is any temporary filling or crown you should not floss until the permenant has been placed. Best,Dr. Maddahi

Answer: Flossing Any work that is permanent, you should be able to floss around unless otherwise instructed. It is generally not advised to floss around temporary work as the floss can pull it out. Water flossers are great for getting around dental work, especially if you have a hard time with traditional floss!
