Alarplasty type of incisions? (photo)

Hi :) I want an alarplasty but I am confused about what the type of incision I want is called. I have seen alarplasty used for a few different procedures. But anyway I want the one specifically where the cut is removing a piece of the nostril at the base of the nose instead of on the side. I think the side cut is more for flare and does not actually narrow the nose and it usually leads to oddly shaped nostrils in most cases. I don't usually see anyone doing this.

The choice of alarplasty incision depends on the goal of the operation. If the goal is to reduce the nostril size, then the nostrils will be incised. If the goal is to reduce flaring, then some alar component will be involved. This is a highly technical question, you are better off letting an expert rhinoplasty surgeon decide on the incision and share their thoughts with you, rather than picking a technique yourself.
