Can Sculptra be used to fill in hip dents after lipo/fat transfer?

A series of diluted Sculptra injections can help fill in the more concave areas on your hips and abdomen, and create smoother planes that match your BBL. You may also need a heat treatment on the abdomen to get a smoother and more pleasing look. I’d suggest finding a board-certified dermatologist who’s an expert in body sculpting to evaluate your fat deposits and skin quality and then come up with a treatment plan so that desired results can be achieved.

Hi Mambo,Yes, Sculptra may be used to treat your concerns.  I would also recommend something that tightens the skin and builds the muscle and evens out the fat irregularities.  You may have a combination of Venus Freeze/Legacy for skin/fat, Emsculpt to build muscle and decrease abdominal fat as well as further lifting your butt, and CoolSculpting for fat irregularities.  Good luck and be well.Dr. P

Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve this.  It should be combined with RF treatments to get the sculptra to work even better/stimulate it to produce collagen such as venus legacy / exilis ultra / thermage / inmode forma or contoura.  We often will add bellafill or renuva to certain areas to improve indentations to get more definition and softening or to improve overall size and shape. Sculptra unlike other fillers increases volume as it induces collagen production. So the solution itself is not the one that produces the added volume. The process relies on the body's natural collagen production. It induces the body to produce collagen so that volume is increased in that area. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

It is definitely a shame that you were left with such a uneven abdominal surface after your BBL. My recommendation to you would not be to have Sculptra injected into the indents on your abdomen but instead undergo a smoothing liposuction of the abdomen which can be done by a professional plastic surgeon like myself with a very good result.
