Can I get microblading if I have a nickel allergy?

I would like to get microblading/phibrows done, however, I recently had an allergy test and found out I am allergic to nickel. I had microblading about three years ago and I don’t believe I had an allergic reaction. Is it ok to get microblading if I have a nickel allergy?

Thanks for your question. Just check with the clinician to make sure there is no nickel in the pigment. A skin test before proceeding would be helpful.Best of luck!Port City Plastic Surgery

Some of the pigments contain nickel and other do not.  Best to ask your provider for a skin test of the pigment before it is used. Our microblading using only organic components but I would still recommend skin testing it first
