5 months on accutane and nothing's happened. (photos)

im taking cureacne for 5 months now and my acne doenst change im still having a congested acne in the lower part face going to neck, im taking 40mg daily since i started. it seems like the accutane is moving vwry slow. what should i do?

Hi,
I'm so sorry you are struggling with acne after five months of Accutane. For persons with acne like yours it is often commonplace to also treat with an oral glucocorticoid, such as prednisone, at the same time as Accutane. Other adjunctive treatments include IL injection of Kenalog into stubborn cysts. You also may want to speak with your doctor about increasing your dosage. Lastly, some patients respond to oral Dapsone if Accutane is not effective. I hope this is helpful and wish you the best of luck!
