How many sessions do you think will be need to remove the complete tattoo? I got this tat 2 years ago and now I’m regretting and am waiting to save up some money for tattoo removal. Can anyone answer if the pink is gonna be easy to remove! I have been researching this for days and hours. Which laser would be best for this type of work?

Hi, thanks for your question and photo. Before erasing a tattoo, you should have a physical exam to see its condition. Using a laser treatments, you may need at least two sessions, because of the colors. Good luck!

Thank you for your question and photograph.  The number of session that laser tattoo removal takes depends on a number of factors including the age of the tattoo, type of ink, which laser is used and how long you wait between session.  It takes several weeks to months for your immune system to clear the ink particles so the longer you wait between treatments the better. At least 6-8 weeks.
The pink ink could be a problem if it was made by combining red and white ink.  White ink is the most common color to immediately change color with a laser treatment and it could change into a color that does not respond to the laser.  For that reason, you should first have a small test spot done.  If there is no change in color, the pink should be easier to remove than the black. An Nd:YAG laser would be best to treat both the pink and black.
