Can I drink on Accutane? I am one week and 6 days in.

I have not had any alcohol in the past few months. I am one week and 6 days in on my accutane. Is it okay to have a couple drink? Since I don't drink daily is have more then one drink ok once a month?

Absolutely not! Accutane is a very effective but also very strong medication, and it can affect your liver. Therefore it is required to monitor your liver enzymes every month while you are taking it. Alcohol can contribute to the liver damage. So hang in there, zero alcohol while on Accutane, and you will have beautiful skin in a few months. Good Luck!
