I am a female of age 24..i have hair fall issue i tested my thyroid level which is 2.4.... Is it a normal range

Hello and thank you for your question. A thyroid imbalance can cause hair loss. There are various thyroid tests so I'm not certain which test you had and what the 2.4 is referring to. I suggest discussing this further with your doctor. Best wishes to you.

Thyroid function tests include multiple test which are thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), FT3, FT4. In order to interpret the result, all of the panels are required. Please seek for further medical advices with your local doctors or endocrinologist.
However, abnormal thyroid hormone level could cause hair loss either hyperthyroid or hypothyroid.
