I got a 50% glycolic peel yesterday and my face looks like this today. Is this normal or am I having a reaction? (Photo)

I have been doing 30% peels once monthly for about a year. I have never had this kind of result. I left the 50% peel on for two minutes and experienced some burning.

Glycolic acid is an acid and although not very strong should not be done at home. there are many reasons but at least it most likely will heal without sequelae.  apply Vaseline on moist skin couple times a day and let water run over your face in the shower
