I had a root canal done on tooth #12 May 2015. I developed a fistula on my upper gum. The dentist & endodontist fed a wire to see where the infection was coming from and it went straight through my tooth as seen on xray. I'm worried if I pay 900 it will fail again and if I have to pull it I won't have money to replace the tooth with a bridge or partial. Can anyone give me advice? I have included xrays from my visit this week. Thank you

There appears to be chipping in all front four teeth--you have the option to repair or smooth down more tooth structure--I always rather add than take away--good luck to you
It's always important to get a crown after a rootcanal to avoid a tooth from chipping or breaking. Also it will prevent the tooth from getting reinfected by getting a proper coronal seal. We always recommend the final crown within two weeks
Good luck
