Hi I'm 21 years old 5ft6 and I have 34GG bra size I'm considering breast reduction to a size 34D but I was diagnosed with endometriosis in July 2019 and I do take visanne pills, I was wondering if my breasts would return to a big size because of my oestrogen production
Answer: Breast reduction in regards to endometriosis - Would my breasts return to a big size because of my estrogen production? Before starting VISANNE, you must stop taking any form of birth control that contains hormones such as the pill, patch, intrauterine system, injection, or ring. Instead condoms or a diaphragm must be used. One of the side effects of VISANNE is weight gain. I would ask your gynecologist or PCP for his/her opinion regarding whether you should wait to schedule breast reduction surgery until you have taken the drug for a longer period of time.

Answer: Delay decision until estrogen effects can be evaluated There are two components of the breast: fat and breast parenchyma. Fat will change with weight but breast parenchyma can be changed with estrogen. Since you just began taking the medication, maybe you should wait to see how the medication affects you, delaying will allow a more accurate decision. The technique I recommend for breast reduction is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Breasts can enlarge again after breast reduction but it is uncommon. There is usually no reason and taking estrogen should make no difference.

Answer: Breast reduction Dear Tygerrr_, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
