I have PCOS. Can I start laser hair removal and take contraceptives at the same time?

I took contraceptives for 6 months but then quite them for 1 year. Now I want to have laser treatment on face. Do I have to start contraceptives before laser to balance hormones first Or I can start taking pills and laser at the same time? Hair won't come back?

There is no clear right or wrong answer to your question. You can start taking pills concurrently with laser, or  start taking them 3 months before laser. Laser hair removal will result in a permanent reduction in your hair (not 100%), and as opposed to someone who doesn't have PCOS, you are more likely to require more maintenance treatments over time, but less so if you stay on combination birth control (not the case for IUD).
