I look deformed 2 days after brow lift and lower face. Is this normal? (Photos)

Question

I know swelling and bruising are to be expected, however it looks like my skin is pulled way too tight and eyebrows are too high. I am very afraid I have had a botched job. Please help!

Hello audraburkBruising and swelling are normal at this point, and temporary asymmetry is very common. I would advice you visit or contact your surgeon about this concern.

It is normal to have tightness, swelling and bruising 2 days after a brow lift and face and neck lift procedure. Swelling usually peaks around day 3 and then gradually resolves over the next few weeks. Brows tend to look overdone in the first few weeks but will gradually descend as the swelling subsides over the next few weeks to months. It is natural to have these feels of concern in the first few weeks after this type of procedure but you will likely feel much more comfortable as the swelling subsides over the next month and your face return to ints normal proportions.

Weather you were a candidate or not is irrelevant at this point.  Telling you that you should have not had it done is arguable based on 2 photos and serves no purpose.  .  The 2 day photo looks to be in the range of recovery one would expect at that point.  Brow lifts typically relax over time.  THere are 8 different ways to perform a browlift attributable to the fact that none of them hold up 100%. Try to relax and communicate your concerns with your surgeon. Te bruising will resolve, the swelling will diminish, and the brows will relax., Hopefully your surgeon has a good bedside manner and has some compassion for his/her patients.

Based only son those 2 posted photos I do nt believe you were a candidate for a surgical brow lift. But you had one anyway. Now reversal very difficult to preform.
